Simple MP3 file manager and editor, with which you can create your own playlists.

If you have a lot of songs in your computer, and are struggling to manage them and find any particular song you like at that moment, you need a program like DJ Jukebox 8.1. This small utility is a simple MP3 file manager, cataloguer and editor. You can rename, copy or create your own playlists, and even run it via a LAN.

With DJ Jukebox 8.1 you can score each of your songs, so that in this way the ones you give the highest score to automatically become your favourites and therefore get played more often, and those with a low or no score never get played. DJ Jukebox can then use those scores to generate different playlists with perfect, good and bad songs. You can also use it to generate random playlists that work on Winamp and other media players. It also features a tool to make sure that songs aren't continuously repeated.

DJ Jukebox 8.1 has a "song table" where you can see all your songs and their scores. It is very easy if you want to alter scores, rename songs or even delete them (which is a good idea for those which score zero!). You can do searches and replace operations through this table to find a specific song you want to listen to.

DJ Jukebox 8.1 can also rip CDs, it has a remote control function, is useable on a LAN, gives access to ID3 tags, play a single artist only, and so on. And all this for free!
